Book description
Foundations of the 21st Century is Frank L. DeSilva’s systematic philosophical and political treatise on White Nationalism / ethno-nationalism. It presents itself as a foundational text for understanding race and culture—especially the North American (Western/European-descended) experience—and for constructing a coherent political response to modernity.
The work traces its intellectual origins to the ethnic and cultural revival that began in the 1970s and accelerated through the 1980s, when various groups and individuals sought to protect the interests of the American ethno-state amid rapid demographic and cultural change. DeSilva argues that concepts such as “diversity,” “multiculturalism,” and related post-modern ideologies are anti-White in effect and that a positive, race-conscious philosophy is required to reverse the resulting dispossession.
Core content includes:
-
Definition and justification of White Nationalism as an ethno-nationalist political philosophy grounded in race-culture, biology, and historical continuity.
-
Critique of internationalism, liberalism, and the modern democratic order that, in the author’s view, prioritizes universalism over the organic needs of distinct peoples.
-
Affirmation of the international character of genuine ethno-nationalism (solidarity among European-descended peoples worldwide while rejecting globalist economic or ideological internationalism).
-
Practical and doctrinal elements, including a set of “25 Points” that outline tenets of the ideology.
-
Discussions of political strategy, economics (favoring a folk-centered, anti-globalist model), medicine and health as community responsibilities, cultural revitalization, and the duties of the individual White Nationalist.
-
Emphasis on sovereignty, demographic preservation, spiritual and cultural renewal, and the eventual realization of an ethno-state as the natural political form for a people.
The book positions White Nationalism not as a reactive or purely rhetorical stance but as a comprehensive political process intended to become the foundation of organized action.
