This is a FACSIMILE REPRINT of an exceedingly difficult book to find.

Rhodesia
"Rhodesia" by Robin Moore author of the "French Connection" and "The Green Berets: The Amazing Story of the U.S. Army's Elite Special Forces Unit." Robin Moore was the self-appointed American Ambassador to Rhodesia and the founder of the "Crippled Eagles." The Crippled Eagles was the informal name of a group of American expatriates that fought with the Rhodesian Security Forces during the Rhodesian Bush War. Robin Moore offered a house (aka "The Embassy") in Salisbury as a meeting place for the Americans who served in all units of the Security Forces. The name of "Crippled Eagle" and badge was meant to symbolize their abandonment by the US government. Robin Moore tried to publish a book with the same title, but because of the political controversy the book was refused by publishers and appeared only in early 1990s. The book was then published as "The White Tribe," in 1991.
This book is a no holds look at the Rhodesian conflict in a pro-Rhodesian light and by today's standards would be totally politically incorrect. This is probably why I loved this book. Robin Moore has released some titles that were complete flops, but this book has stood the test of time, unfortunately due to political sensitivity it has never been republished. This book was written out of firsthand experience, with literary skill and with passion and conviction to tell the truth, lifting the veil of international propaganda of this so called race war.
